TAS, as an organisation, seeks to encourage young people in the Arts and each year we at Southport and Formby are involved in seeking out competitions for all ages of students in our area. We usually choose one or more competitions run by a school or college and award money prizes to students for the best work and give support to the organisers by providing a grant for equipment and artistic supplies to further their encouragement of the Arts.

Recently we were pleased to support the Young Arts competition at the Atkinson   

Congratulations to the winning and commended Sefton Young Artists of the Year 2022, Prizes donated by The Arts Society Southport were awarded at a Prizegiving event at The Atkinson .
